Mike Lee
Candidate for District Court Judge 116th Court

Mike Lee has practiced civil trial litigation in the courts throughout the state of Texas since 1985, handling hundreds of cases and trying before juries more than 60 such cases. A native of Dallas, Mike attended Bishop Dunne High School and The University of Dallas before obtaining his law degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Mike's legal experience includes working with both large downtown Dallas firms and smaller "boutique" firms, and in just the Dallas courts he has handled more than 500 cases the past 24 years. Mike is married with two children and is an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where Mike has served on the parochial School Advisory Council for the past two decades. Mike has previously been a candidate for the Texas House of Representatives, from Dallas County District 107, and a candidate for Judge of the 162nd District Court of Dallas County.

Wade Emmert
Candidate for Dallas County Judge
Wade Emmert, a City Council Member in Cedar Hill, is considered a rising star in the Dallas County Republican Party. He recently served as the Co-Chair of the Ballot Integrity effort for the Dallas County Republican Party in 2008. A partner in one of the oldest law firms in Dallas, Wade has been recognized by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics magazines as one of the top attorneys in Texas. He represented State Rep. Linda Harper-Brown in the recount contest that garnered state-wide attention for its impact in the balance of power in the Texas House of Representatives. In his second term on the city council, Wade serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Best Southwest Partnership in Cedar Hill. He is a past president of the Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation and was named "Civic Leader of the Year." Wade is a devoted husband and dad. He is married to Michelle, and they have two young boys, Walker and Will. Wade is intimately involved in his church and enjoys time with his family.

Judge Lana Myers
District Court Judge 203rd Court
Judge Lana Myers is the presiding judge over the 203rd Judicial Court since 1995. As judge of this courtroom, she presides over all felony offenses, including capital murder, murder, aggravated robbery, child abuse and drug offenses. Judge Myers served as the Local Administrative Judge for Dallas County 2002-2004 and as the Administrative Presiding Judge of Dallas County criminal courts, 1997-2000. She is a member of the Texas Supreme Court Task Force to Ensure Judicial Readiness in Times of Emergency and was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to the Crime Victim's Institute Advisory Council. An active member of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Association of the Texas Association of District Judges, she has been an attorney since 1981. As a Republican, she is a member of several Republican Clubs and has served on their boards. She is married to David, whom she has known since she was in elementary school and is a member of First Baptist Church.
